Extension Booms for Forklift
Forklift Extension Boom - Normally, we view forklifts as industrial machinery used to lift and move pallets. Nevertheless, there are extensions presented to give the lift truck more strength and more length for heavier loads. By using one of the four major lift truck booms, your lift truck could be helpful for different other functions. The four main lift truck booms are the coil boom, the pipe boom, the shooting boom and the carpet boom. Each of these are designed for attachment onto your lift truck.
Coil Poles
Coil poles are connected to the carriage of the forklift. They were used for transferring rolled coils and other rolled material like concrete poles or reels of wire. Coil poles will enable you to transfer any rolled or cylinder material as well.
Carpet Poles
Carpet poles are a heavy duty accessory made from EN24T metal. They mount directly onto the forklifts' carriage. They don't have the capability to pick up very heavy stuff such as concrete pipes or coil poles.
Shooting Forklift Booms or Telehandlers
Shooting forklift booms are also called telehandlers or telescopic booms. They are extremely handy on rough terrain forklifts and raise to heights of 20-40 feet. These booms are typically utilized outside on construction jobsites or within the agricultural industry.
Booms Should Not Be Utilized On Pipes

Forklift operators have to complete a training course in order to learn how to drive the machinery in the most safe and practical way. This preparation is intended to keep the one operating it safe and to avoid any injury to people working in the vicinity. Forklifts are a heavy piece of industrialized machinery and considered to be a possibly dangerous machine. Individuals who work with and around them should comply with and understand all of the safety precautions.
Additional training should be offered and given to people operating forklift booms in order to help make sure they comprehend how to safely operate lift truck booms.
